Visited here with some friends on their recommendation. Wow! Everyone in our party was very happy with their dinner selection and the bar had a great assortment of offerings as well. There were plenty of screens so we didn't have any problems finding the game we wanted to watch. The only downside is the parking (it can be tricky figuring out the best place to park, look ahead!).

This review is for the Basque family style dinner served on Friday-Saturday nights which we attended this week for first time. The first thing I loved about it is that you don't sit at a shared table with other diners like at some other Basque restaurants and share bowls of food. The meal has a base of red house wine, bread and butter, soup, salad, spaghetti, French fries, beans and ice cream or cheese for dessert. You can also order an entree with it and the steak and fried chicken were delicious. My suggestion is to request the beans be served at the same time as the soup and add some to the soup. The beans are one of my favorite parts of the meal and they are made really well here. Service is always outstanding here from the entire staff and this is one of my favorite restaurants in Nevada. Don't forget to get a picon punch at the bar first!

Still my favorite place to frequent. They have the best happy hour here. Some of the best food in town. And all the TVs to watch your favorite teams!

Been in a couple times now since it reopened as The Fe and it's been great every time. Incredibly nice staff and I've been very pleased with the food. Remodel maintains some decor from the old Santa Fe while also leaning heavy into the new sports theme. Some of the sports decor seems a little tacky (Andy Warhol-like football prints), but overall lots of TVs and a good bar to catch a game. The menu maintains the Basque theme but with a modern spin. Its not the traditional family style meal (though they do still host a monthly family style meal that I'll have to try). There's also a great happy hour over the weekend (Friday through Sunday) which is rare to find. Between my partner and I, we've tried most of the pintxos, the Chicken Rigatoni, Chorizo burger, cheeseburger, hot honey chicken sando. Highlights: the fun of trying different pintxos and their authenticity, chicken sandwich was great (pretty spicy), really good beer battered fries, chicken rigatoni had basque chorizo in it and was tasty. Critiques: chorizo burger was a little dry, rigatoni was pretty greasy but to be expected with chorizo.

The Fe is absolutely amazing! We celebrated my father-in-laws 70th birthday last Thursday. He had 12 of his close friends and family. And The Fe knocked it out of the park. The food was amazing. We all order different entrees so it was really great to see all the different meal they had. I ordered the salmon, it was delicious. I love to eat seafood when I go out because my husband don't like it - so I don't cook it much. My husband got the Ribeye, and it was out of this world!! The cocktails were definitely on point. The pecan punches were yummy. They had a nice selection of wine by the glass and by the bottle. I went with both. But the service was the best. I haven't experienced this good of service in a long time. Waters were brought out right when we sat down. Cocktails were flowing. Appetizer served with in minutes of ordering. And the main corse arrived all together with no errors. I can't wait to go back! We are excited to visit them on Sundays for their family style service. Big tip - make sure you park in the Harris parking garage because parking is tuff down town.

The food was very flavorful and the right amount. I didn't get pics of the burger we got or the salad, but they were super yummy. We got a couple pintxos, salad, and burger and split it between the two of us and it was the perfect amount of food. The service was really good and all staff was friendly. It is a nice roomy spot, very clean, and comfortable. Lots of sport pics to look at a great vibe about this place.

I have not been to the The Fe since it was taken over by new owners and totally renovated. They did a fantastic job, place is neat, clean and critter free. Had a lovely lunch with my friend Nancy V. We shared a couple of small plates .. we could have easily shared a single small plate, as the serving size was commendable. We had Wagyu Beef Sliders (comes with chips) and BBQ wings (comes with fries). We were really stuffed, but still asked about dessert. We shared a Basque Cheese Cake. Everything was really really good. Would definitely go back, as long as there is not major sporting event going on ... many large screens. Only draw back ... parking. There is a "single" metered parking space outside the restaurant. However there is all of Second Street .. also metered ... but if you go in the evening, doesn't matter.

Love what they've done with the place! In what was formerly known as the Santa Fe, they have renovated, cleaned up, opened up and generally changed what was a sad, old, rundown, traditional Reno Basque bar/restaurant into a sports bar. The great thing about it is it still has the heart and soul of the old Basque establishment, but is updated and modernized. No more grease, dirt, and dead cockroaches. We stopped in here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We were invited to take a seat wherever we liked. We opted for a booth in the dining room off of the bar area. The bartender came over with menus and water and took our drink order while we looked over the menu. Nice mix of items to choose from. I was intrigued by the more traditional Basque offerings but decided to keep to my healthy eating resolution and decided on the Basque Farmer Salad - sorta traditional? It was HUGE! The plate was filled with fresh crisp lettuce topped with a generous portion of avocado, tomato, artichoke hearts, Feta cheese, walnuts and radishes with a very light vinaigrette dressing. I couldn't eat it all! My husband had the Wagyu sliders with a side of fries - I helped him with the fries. I liked the spice and the aioli dipping sauce. Looking forward to coming back and sampling the Spanish Pintxos (aka tapas) and the Campo y Agua.
